Public 2D datasets

Follow this link to a collection of public datasets of exploration-geophysical interest available for free download from the SEG website. Note, the datasets have legal disclaimers and requirements attached. Before downloading datasets, first download their associated README files and agree with the restrictions you find there. Some of the files are fairly large (1 gigabyte) and may take an hour or more per download. Please avoid downloading large files during peak network traffic times.

There will be another open-source software workshop at the upcoming 2012 EAGE in Copenhagen. In format it will be similar to the workshop at the 2006 EAGE meeting. (The abstracts of the 2006 workshop are still available online.)
